Natural gas gathering and processing is our core business. Natural gas produced at the wellhead contains varying amounts of liquids. In its raw form, natural gas is usually not acceptable for transportation in the nation’s major natural gas pipeline systems or for commercial use as a fuel. Our pipeline gathering systems collect and transport raw natural gas to processing plants where we separate and remove NGLs from the natural gas stream. This enables our customers' natural gas to meet transmission and quality specifications.
Many NGLs have greater value when used as feedstock in the production of petrochemicals and motor gasoline. We transport mixed NGLs to our fractionation facilities where it is further separated into purity products including ethane, propane, butanes, and natural gasoline.
