Richard D. Moncrief
Executive Vice President & Cheif Operating Officer

A co-founder of Caiman Energy, Rick Moncrief serves as the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Rick has 30 years of energy industry experience and a remarkable track record of success in value creation. He has held numerous operational and commercial leadership positions.
From 2007 until he joined Caiman, Mr. Moncrief served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Regency Energy Partners (NASDAQ: RGNC), a midstream services provider specializing in natural gas. As COO he was responsible for more than 220 employees as well as the operations, engineering, EH&S and commercial activities of the company. Rick joined Regency in 2006 as Senior Vice President of Gas Supply and Business Development following the sale of Sid Richardson Energy Services' west Texas assets to Southern Union. He accepted the role of COO in 2007.
From 2001 to 2006, Rick was Vice President of Engineering and Business Development for Sid Richardson where he was responsible for the integration and optimization of the Sid Richardson assets. Rick led organic growth initiatives, the acquisition of several idle and underutilized pipelines and the reconfiguration and upgrading of those assets. His leadership led to the 2006 sale of those assets to Southern Union for $1.6 billion.
From 1998 to 2000, Rick served as Vice President of Gas Supply and Business Development for Koch Midstream Services' assets in south and west Texas. From 1986 to 1997 he held various positions at Texas Oil and Gas Corporation, working initially as an engineer for the company's exploration and production subsidiary, TXO Production Company, before moving to Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation where he held management positions until the company was sold to Koch Midstream.
Rick began his career in 1981 as an engineer with Getty Oil after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University the same year. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (inactive status since 2006). Rick and his wife have two children.
